Born and educated in South Africa, Sharon Marshall began her writing career as a reporter for East London’s Daily Dispatch in the late 80s. Since, she has worked in several editing and managerial positions throughout South Africa. In 2002, she launched her freelance career subsequently adding numerous writing and editing publications to her name. Sharon also has special interest in slavery, having done extensive research on mixed genealogical connections in South Africa. Sharon has traveled widely throughout Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Last year she relocated to India where she continues her freelance career with special focus on environmental and spiritual matters.
