Tibetans attend Special Meeting in Dharamsala on Tibet's Future

A Special Meeting convened by the Dalai Lama to discuss the future course of the Tibet movement is underway in Dharamsala, India. Over 500 Tibetans are in attendence for this unprecendented meeting, which runs from Nov 17-22. Many are also offering their opinions, analysis and views online, including Woeser, Tibet's well known write and blogger.

Tibetan Monk Detained for Speaking the Truth

Tibetan Voices From Inside Tibet: Chinese authorities have re-arrested Jigme Gyatso, a monk from Labrang Monastery in eastern Tibet for openly speaking out about China's crackdown against the peaceful protests that swept across Tibet last March.

SFT DECLARES OLYMPIC SUCCESS IN BEIJING

VOWS TO FIGHT ON UNTIL TIBET IS FREE

SFT held an open-air press conference in Beijing on April 22 to announce the end of our Beijing Olympics campaign . Briton Alice Speller, 25, and American Ginger Cassady, 30, vowed that the global movement for Tibetan freedom will continue until China ends its brutal military occupation of Tibet.
